How to Register a Private Limited (Pvt Ltd) Company Name in Sri Lanka ?

You can search for the company name via the Department of the Registrar of Companies’ website (www.drc.gov.lk). The selected name must be filled in the approval form and given to the counter of the Registrar of Companies. Right after this process, the name approval will become available within two to three working days. The booking of the company name will be valid for three months from the date of application. If for some reason you are not able to incorporate the company within the 03 months’ time, you can still request for a renewal period extending to another three weeks.
